DocumentScanner is an Android application for scanning documents by taking photographs using the phone’s camera.

It has been designed to satisfy academic or professional uses. For example for the student who uses it to scan notes or for the businessman who uses it to collect and organize receipts.

Its main target devices are tablets with Android 3.0 or later.

-the free choice of the width and height of the notebook page (i.e. the horizontal and vertical resolution of the page bitmaps)

-notebook export to Evernote (requires installation of the Evernote app)
-sharing and importing of notebook pages
-insertion, deletion and reorganization of notebook pages

-organization of notebooks in files
-backup and restore of the notebooks table

Possible problem: For some functions, the application requires the installation of other applications: Scanning requires the installation of a photo application; importing notebooks and folders and restoring the notebooks table requires installation of a file management application; exporting to Evernote requires installation of the Evernote application; exporting to OneNote requires installation of the OneNote app.
